All over this DF has OCC installs, make ya own OCC, even $20 OCC's. As far as TT's it doesnt matter if its stock or modified. it'll all work the same

The one most of us use is talked about on several threads in this section, just scan back a page or two...

IMO, a tubo-timer is something that is "nice to have" but hardly necessary. If you've driven your card hard enough for it to require a cool down period, you can just let the engine idle for the period specified in the owners manual.

Yeah, I'm "cheap"!!!![sm=smiley36.gif]

What is even considered driving it hard. Running it around a road course or what.

Yea!!!! I finally got to use that smiley!!!!!!! (joking)

I make it a habit to let my engine idle until the fan stops running (you can hear it). I also pop my hood open when I get home in the afternoon since it's usually close to 100 degrees outside by then and the engine compartment is really, really hot. I keep the coolant bottle filled as well.
BTW, anybody see that heatshield at www.modernperformance.com for the plug wires and the coil pack?

I know I should read the manual but I'm just to damn LAZY LOL hehehehehe. BTW, since I'm lazy how far is the coolant suppose to be up, is it suppose to be up to the full line when on a cold engine.

No, only on a "hot" engine.

i have the blitz tt. it's nice because it reads the tach wire and decides for me if the car needs a cool down period. it sets the time dependant on how long the car was driven, and how long i stayed above a certain rpm (which you set). i got it from exhaustdepot.net, and it comes with a harness and installation guide on cd.

i have the greddy catch can. i only have to empty it about every 3 months, much easier than the $20 one. i coughed up the extra cash for a real one

the coil pack heat shield...i have the one from bdj, they had it first and modern copied it from them. imo, the bdj one is a lot nicer, as it allows for more air flow to the turbo. this is especially important if you have the dc strut tower brace, as that blocks a lot of the air from getting back there. i also sloved this problem with the larger scoops in my hood, so i've been ok so far.
