i was wondering if anyone could help me with my take off problems. i own a 2003 SRT-4 and my problem is that there is a slight lag in power reaching the ground. i DO NOT have the LIMITED SLIP DIFF. could this be my problem? and is it worth the extra cash to get it installed? I think that i could ran alittle better than low 12second times if the lag problem is taken care of. Please if you have any advice please let me know.

low 12's huh... what's this "heavy modded" you've done to your car?? just for clarity... I don't want to sound like an @$$ so please forgive the tone, but if you have a car in the low 12's, well, wouldn't you already know the answer to your question?? maybe not, again, not to offend... just curious...

traction is always key... power is useless without traction and the ability to control what you have... just my advice...

sounds like you're looking for a term other than "lag"

hard to believe you are getting lag since the car is at full torque at 2000 rpm

depending on how you're modded you will have slightly different launch techniques.

so, whatcha' got?

if you don't have mounts or lsd try launching around 1600 rpm - if you're close to stock.

ya i don't see how your car could be lagging power if it is runnin 12's!
