Default IC cleaning??

Im gettin ready to take the IC off to clean it cause i didnt have the CC on.. so can anyone tell me good shortcuts or how-tos on how to remove it.. also, if im not mistaken theres a pipe that goes from the IC to the trottle body, do i need to clean that also?? .. or anything else?. any help would be greatly appreciated..

just wipe out the pipe. i have heard the way to clean out the i/c is to remove it and spray it out, but i owuld be careful using any degreasers inside of it. youll have to removfe the front bumper, take it out and clean it, allow adequate dry time and replace everything. i would allow a weekend you wont be using the car to be sure its completley dry.

A few folks I know have used "Simple Green" to to clean the IC with good results.........

Gumout carb and choke cleaner will easily remove any oil and will dry fairly quick since it's alcohol based.

I heard using brake parts cleaner works also. I used it.
