Well about a week ago my car went low on engine coolant,so i bought some(not mopar but same chemicals) so everything was good,but all of a sudden when im going WOT sometimes my car boggles out at 3k or 4k rpm,like if it wants to shut off,could it be my spark plugs???? thanks

honestly i wouldnt kno because i havent taking it to a shop yet.my friends kept saying its not enough fuel going thru the lines and to chek my dist cap and spark plugs,you think it could be that???

 

go out to your car. turn the key forward (dont start it), turn it back, then turn it forward again (i think you do it twice). be ready with pen and paper, it will display a "P" code. write that bitch down and look it up here on the forum.

 

you have to flick the key 3 times... but yeah look it up here you will find your problem for sure

SO ARE LEETERS OR NUMBER GOING TO COME OUT??? CUZ I TRIED IT AND THE ONLY THING THAT SHOWED UP WAS THE ENGINE AND OIL LIGHT STAYED UP?? SORRY IM SUCH A NOOB WITH SRTS.AND DO I HAVE THE FLCIK THE KEY LIEK START IT BUT NOT STARTING IT OR JUST TURN THE KEY TILL THE CLUSTER TURNS ON ?? THANKS

 

Do it three times within 10 seconds, all the way w/o starting it..........we were all nooby's at one time or another.......

BTW, you don't have a distributor cap, or points, or a condenser. Just in case your friends tell you to check those..........

The codes will be displayed where the odometer is and they will be the letter "P" followed by 4 digits.

What year is your SRT-4? It could either be a spark or fuel related problem or something else entirely. What, if any, modifications have you done to it?
