Default Stock intake pipe....

Alright so my damn AEM SRI broke on me... just like it happened to LSP. My question is this, I am going to be putting my stock intake pipe back on, I painted it red to make it atleast a bit appealing... now for the question... where do I put the sensor? Is it super important for it to be connected onto the intake?

in that case there is nowhere to put it unless you were to drill a new place for it.

Oh ok... does it need to be in the intake though? What if it is just outside of it? Will I get a check engine light or anything like that?

you can always try running it, but since ist an airflow sensor you may throw a code (of corse for the time being its nothing a piece of electrical tape cant fix.)

Yeah, thats what I was planning on doing. Just electrical taping that **** where that little bent plastic piece goes, it should get some airfow through there. We'll see what happens.

Heres a pic of it, i still haven't been able to put my front upper strut bar on, the driver side bracket wont fit, gotta get it custom fitted I guess. I am going to buy the breather for it today, painted it red and put a new filter on it.

what kind of strut brace is it? if it's the mopar or dc sports(same thing i believe) it's a tight fit and you have put it in at an angle. i can elaborate more but i don't know which one you have.
