mine came on for the first time at a little under 10,000 miles. damn fuel injector went out, but i got a new injector and all new plugs and wires from the dealership while i was there.
find out what code its throwing and if you wanna get rid of the check light quick then disconnect the battery cable and connect it again, maybe the ECU had a brain fart, if the code comes back then look into it.
turn the key on and off 3 times fast, do not start the car, the code will display where the odometer sits with a P____ number. Just look it up after you get it.
