dont know about the occ never heard of it, but the blue plate is just a noise maker that vents extra air going into the surge valve, not
really a "blow off valve", if u want a blow off valve, there are much better choices that get the job done. My personal favorite is my HKS
SSQV.

never heard of the occ either, i did the homemade one and it works just fine. the mopar bov is priced pretty good. i got mine from modern p. and it may have been a few dollars more. i think you will like it. i know i did. i do have a sound clip of one on my computer at home. if you want i could send it to you this afternoon.
no and no. anything made by weapon r should be used only as target practice or a door stop, but should never under any circumstances be put on a car. i just hate the rice place and think it's a waste of time, a boost leak, and the most annoying sound ever made that goes off all the freaking time (even in reverse), so that's why i said no to that.
i have not ordered either yet, but i have heard a the mopar plate on another stock srt and thought it sounded pretty good. that was at about 50mph though. i did however just go and get my cat removed. not quite sure what to think about it. it didnt give me the noise from the turbo that i was looking for, and is for sure a little louder in the exhaust of course.....however i can hear a little spoiling now so i guess im somewhat happy with it. the occ is still a concern of mine....i would definately love to save the money and do it myself, but worried that i dont have the proper tools to install.
i think with the mopar plate you either love it or you hate it, so each to his own. if your looking to just make some noise than the plate will be a cheap way to do so, cheaper than hardpipe and new BOV that is. if you have a basic household tool kit you have everything you need to install. as for the OCC, i would spend the extra bucks and get a quality one, as you dont want one that isnt sealed up tight.
The $20 OCC is a cinch to install with tools that everone has. You can go to one of the many postings in this section for a list of the parts and mounting info.......trust me, it's easy (especially if I CAN'T mess it up) and mine has worked like a charm for almost 3 years now.......

if you do go with the weapon r make sure which one you get. i believe the one made for the srt4 is only for the intake side since it has a breather in it. since you're wanting to go to the pcv you need a different one made by them or any other brand. search around if you want to spend the money and you get what you pay for. i personally don't like to jerry-rig stuff on my car so i wouldn't use the $20 one. plus the weapon r made for the srt4 mounts to the top engine mount and if you get aftermarket mounts, you will no longer be able to mount it there(you remove the bracket it mounts to).
as for the bov, the mopar is cool if you want to be noisy, but if you're wanting to build your car up i would go the other route and get a cold-side pipe and a
"real" bov.

^ the one that mounts on the motor mount is no longer available. i ordered one and they didnt have it, modernperformance siad it was discontinued. so unless someone has one in stock somewhere still, you wont be getting one.
