my 05 srt-4 makesa rattling noise sounds like it comes from under at idle but if I rev my motor it gets faster and goes away when I rev open the hood it sounds like its coming from behind where the turbo is need help or suggestions

 

can you better describe the rattle? i mean it could just be something loose, a bolt or something that is causing some metal on metal rattle caused by the motor's vibration at cetrain rpms. or if its a different kind of rattle it could be something a little more serious. is it the coming from the turbo or somewhere nearby it?

 

it sounds like kinda like metal but gets faster as you go faster it goes faster

 

does it get faster with mph or rpms? if your at highway speed im assuimg its fairly bad, but does it quit when you push in the clutch and put the car in neutarl? its probably a vibration from something being loose. just isolating it and getting it torqued down is all. do you have any mods already? as long as its not a valve tap it should be really hard to fix. i would poke around under the hood to see if you can find anything that is loose
