Lilspark ?
Anyone know how Crystal is doing?
I'm a little concerned as she is usually very active here, but not so much lately.
I know she just had a couple of operations. Hope they went well.
Maybe she's still recovering?
Well here's wishing her and everybody else herea Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Hey guys!Yeah I'm up and about, barely. The past few weeks I've been working at the least 40 hours, and I've had no time between that and the last two weeks of school to get much of anything done. Pressure thanks for the concern
I did actually go back to the doctor on the 11th, and have been relatively depressed since then. She told me then that it woul d be another 6 weeks with the patch on my eye before I would need another surgery to get things "hopefully" straightened out.I was given three options:1. Take your left eye out of the equation. Meaning: take the vision out of your left eye so you can't see anymore therefore eliminating the chances of seeing double.2. Work on the right eye. No way, its the only eye I've had for 21 years.3. Work on the left eye again with minimal chances of it coming out okay because of the amount of work done to it already. <- my choice, and I believe with the other two it wasn't a bad one.I've just been kinda down about it. It sucks walking around with a bandaid over your eye, walking into things, reaching for things that aren't there. Its just something that I've had to deal with for the past 6 months. I've already had this patch on (this time) for a total of 6 weeks, I have 4 more to go. Then another surgery.Gets aggravating after awhile. My eye, much like my car (the vet status DF folks will remember this one) is possessed.I'm still around,
Promise.

sorry to hear things arent as well as they could be lilspark.....i, and im sure along with everyone else on here, will continue to pray for and think of you. put your faith in god and your trust in doctors and i promise everythig will work out the way its supposed to. hope noone was offended by anything i said.
Not at all 04blksrt. Lilspark I hope the best for you and pray that you come through fine. It sucks to have things go bad around the holidays when things are supposed to be good. Keep your head up... I mean this with my all. Whatever the outcome, we are here for you. Don't let depression beat you. It's easy to say that and not be in your situation butkeep moving forward. Great things will come to you eventually.
Crystal, we're all hoping for the best for ya here, you know that.
I once had some metal fragments fall into my left eye as I was working on a muffler. I was going to college in Houston at the time and had to drive to San Antonio (200 miles) with one eye to see my doctor......that was one scary car ride!!! I can understand how you'd be upset with having to do that for an extended period of time!!!
