If srt's were only meant to go in a straight line......why did they put a limited slip in the 04-05, and then why did they come out with an acr version. Seems that the neon chasis has been a staple of the autocross scene, but some think they only go in straight lines.

 

yall are making me realize that im kinda a virgin to all this cause i have never driven on a track b4 either. i dont think i would want to push MY srt to its fullest capabilities on a winding track. now if i squatted 1.5" and got some sway bars with better & wider tires then maybe. but for stock suspension i dont think i would like that. now i have done the strip thing for several years now and im sure its not quite as exciting but still a blast to me. the only argument that i have is that i would think that the lsd would be used more for getting off the line than for taking corners....just an observation. but i tell you what.....if you wanted to get rid of that evo ill be glad to swap with you. hey whats better than 1 srt???? TWO!!!! you could build mine for the track and go emberass some evo's and sti's and you could build yours for show, drag...whatever you wanted. im in AL and ill give you directions whenver youre ready to pick her up. ill even wash it for you! nah im jokin...it would be nice though to come down stairs and have to decide...evo or srt today...ahhh ill just flip a coin! either one would be an ideal drive to work for me. large is good.I went to the races last night and waited for your call, all my friends were there and they could've talked to you, but no worriesw hopefully i can figure out what went wrong with the car today and in a few days you'll be spiking 18 psi and holdiong 15
