Default replacing stock boost guage.

when you replace the stock boost guage can u just pull it out from the pod or do you have to take apart the entire dash? mine likes to flutter very bad under heavy throttle and it pisses me off cus i cant tell what i spike but when it holds its not shaking around..

You have to pull the top of the dash off. Disconnect the battery ground 1st, then remove the "A" pillars, then you have 2 screws in the defrost vent and 2 on each end of the dash top, then just push it up.

if your gague is fluttering it's probably because you have a boost leak. try fixing that first.

The stock gauge is just a step above junk. Mine fluttered / shook/ bounced all around on acceleration too until I replaced it. It's been steady ever since.

i wish that was true saying it goes wayay if you get a new one. i have had 3 boost gauges all after market and they all flutter like crazy... i have had a boost leak test done over ten times and it still does it. but i think mine does it cause of the ****ing mm.
