boost gauge
I need a boost gauge asap!!I'm planning on ordering it tomorrow because i think mine is messed up.I saw one at modernperformance for $50...I dunno if that's a good deal or not.Do you guys/girls know of any other place with good ones
a boost gauge is a boost gauge for the most part. it's all about how much you're willing to spend and what features you want. summit racing usually has a good selection and good prices, check there for different ideas about what's out there.
what are you looking to spend? whatfeatures do you want? electric or mechanical?

i know i already confused everyone with this question, but i want a boost gauge that moves from left to right like the a/f ration gauge. its got the colorful bar that moves further and further around the gauge the higher the psi...anyone got any ideas....and if not, then how does the digital boost gauges work? anyone got one and not been happy with it, or do yall know if theyre acurate enough? and psi, i just looked at summit racing, they didnt have the one i was lookin for
check vei for the light bar one. most digital boost gauges just have a digital reading of the psi levels displayed on the screen, they don't usually have a moving bar.
mechanical boost gauges are easier to hook up than electric ones because there's no extra wiring. just use the stock lines, plug them into the gauge and go. the electric ones require wiring a secondary map sensor into the car (which is all of three wires and very easy to do). neither one is particularly hard to install, it's more about what features you want. mechanical boost gauges are going to do nothing but read boost. nothing wrong with that. electric ones will have fancier options like boost recall, max boost warning, etc.
