GReddy Catch Can
just bought a catch can yesterday, because I got oil coming out of everywhere!!!!That stuff is even dripping out of my BOV!!I bought the Universal one(square).Well where should I connect the hoses, I've seen so many pics that it's gotten kinda confusing, and eveybody tells me a diff thing.I don't have the bracket yet but I'll make one here at work, just gotta figure out where to put it, and I don't think the hose that came with it is long enough!
just splice it into the pcv valve at the top left of the head and mount it under the a/c lines if it will fit. if not the take it over under the cai, but you would probably want to find a nother hose to splice into if you had to put it over there
I just got finishes making that bracket.Looks nice as hell, all polished and clean(i had the right tools).I'm gonna mount mine up just like psichick, looks better there and easier to reach.
i hooked one side up to the pcv valve, and the other into the tb. mounted it on the support bracket in the front. do not use the lines that come with the cc, they will collapse. i used fuel line hose, you can get it at any parts store.
and what do you do with the hoses you disconect? block'em off or something?Did you take anything out of the occ because i keep hearing if you take some kinda of white filter in it it works much better
i never took anything out.
you connect one hose to the pcv valve and the other into the cc. the the other side of the cc goes into the tb. all you're basically doing is putting the cc in line with the hose that was already there. nothing gets blocked .
