cleaning the engine bay
what all do you need to cover up when you clean the actual motor. i know i should put a bag over the distributor, battery, intake.....whate else should i cover up or avoid getting wet. and grease lightning or simple green...either one of those should work fine right?
Hey, I was being sarcastic, do NOT clean your engine. Repeat, do NOT do it. You'll get water into connections you'll play hell ever finding and drying. You're asking for a disaster. If you want to clean individual parts use a rag with a cleaner, never take a hose to an electronically controlled system !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
too late bro...he allready did and thanks to you the damn car won't start!!!!!!!!!!is this fun!!!?huh???!!!??you happy now!!!?? j/k son!.....I know blksrt...he messed in the head you know.If you let him do it he'll spray all up in there!!Hey bro if you read this I'll give you a call today after i get off work....I'm kinda exited for you!!hope that guy gets your beast running strong again
I figured the "nice pine scent" might give away the fact that I was kidding son. The last person who asked this question 6 months ago I told them not to do it. They did it anyway and had problems for 3 days afterwards. People do what people wanna do huh bro ?
lol....he called me yesterday and asked me the same question...I told him to cover everything and to be very careful.I've never done it to my car, but it was easy doing it to all 3 ponies I've owned, I never covered anything..lol...and they would start right up with no trouble, gotta love 'stangs
