yes it is. it allows you to tune to a much more exact level. the safc allows you to pull fuel in 1% increments while the dtec allows you to do it in 0.1%. also, the dtec has better log features and can be hooked up to a wideband.
lol yea fuel control can be a pain. a dtec goes for around $350, so not much more than a safc. plus there's no screen to mount anywhere (and no inticement to steal for theaves) as you plug a few wires into a gameboy to tune. when you're done tuning, unplug the gameboy and hide the wires.
well i bought that same fuel pump already..should get here tomorrow.With that and the turbo dtec i should be allright...right?I plan to get bigger injectors and all that when I upgrade the turbo
i know it isnt an srt4 but i got a map clamp for my car and it hasnt caused any problems yet....just raises the fuel shut off.....but i dont know how your cars work compared to mine[&:]
