i put on a short ram CAI this weekend (AEM). now my car whistles like hell while spooling....just wantes to make sure this is normal. otherwise the car sounds SICK!!!! i love it. i took off my mopar plate and am gonna get the pipe w/ real BOV...i cant wait to see what it sounds like then. but wanted to make sure that was normal for my car to whistle like that

it should sound louderwith a short ram. I'm about to convert my k&n to a short ram since we are getting alot of rain this winter. I'm expecting it to be louder than when it is a cai.

well heres the deal with my boost. i put just a block off plate on and got 15 psi holding!! so that tells me that i need a block off plate with pipes and a true bov and ill be set. i found the GReddy TypeRS Blow Off Valve for 60$ buti dont know what pipes that it will bolt right up to. i also have a guy that has a cold pipe with a raptor for sale, but i cant figure out how much he wants for it...but thats the way i want to go forsure. one with the bov already attached. after that my car should be 100 %

i got a greddy type s with an agp boost tube running from the hot side... it sounds sweet

 

so you can run the bov from hot or cold side....would it make a difference in performance or sound?

 

I wouldn't do that if I were you.My first bow(HKS) ran in the hot side.'Till I hit somehting and knocked it off the silicone hoses.Besides running it in the cold side looks cooler.I took some pitures yesterday I'll try posting them here tomorrow
