thats a cool concept, but i dont think a srt would need all that....boost lag is not that bad and ive heard of people having issues when they start messing with the firing systems on these cars

i think i might have the answer i seek but for you who dont know what a miss fireing system is.

An anti-lag (commonly called a 'bang-bang' in WRC) worked to help keep a turbo spooled. When the driver lets off the gas the computer physically holds the throttle open, dumps in a ton of fuel, and retards the timing. This causes most of the fuel to not be ignited in the combustion chamber and ends up getting burnt in the exhaust manifold, creating the energy that helps the turbo stay spooled.
well to answer your question regarding this....unless you're a REALLY slow shifter and have a T66 or larger it would probably be pointless for drag racing. this isn't a system used in draging because it's not necessary. drag cars don't see low rpms that need the turbos to stay spooled. if you're shifting properly you don't get low enough in the rpm band to dump boost.

I think someone has been watching a little to much intital d. The evo III used it, and stated the rally car thing. Blah, blah, blah....They were racing mountain passes(remeber this is all a cartoon, and fictional) and the miss firing system was used to get the last bit out of the downhill run. Get a life.....1 are you really that good that you would need something like this? I doubt it. 2 Do you think people will think your cool cause your car backfires? I doubt it. 3 Do you really drive your car that hard and if so wouldn't other mods be more benifitial? like say lightening up the car? Well good luck with the hole misfiring thing.
