not really. people have done it, there's just no real reason to unless you're in a race car. hell even the n2mb race car isn't internally wastegated, and mchat can't touch that car
I'd like to see this N2MB race car.... Maybe if they would get their site up & running! j/k.....but not really....

i've been bugging them about that stupid website for weeks. here's some pics...

the car did a 6.7@109 in the 1/8th on monday. it had the wrong size slicks for the gearing and the lock was slipping so it wasn't even as good as it should have done. that run would be good for an estimated low 10 in the 1/4. a bigger turbo is going in and the tranny getting fine tuned...this is going to run a 9 soon. atco opens again in about two weeks, i think it might be going down there for a shot at the 1/4 soon.

difference is that n2mb knows how to tune where as the accepted understanding as far as the knowedgable people is that you have no freaking clue what you're talking about

Ah, that's because of the argument on SrtForums (http://www.srtforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=263265) I had with them (n2mb and some others) about using a S2/S3 MAP on a S1 ECU. They said it would never work, whereas I PROVED that it works. I ran one one my car and helped tune another car that followed suit. They couldn't seem to grasp the concept that voltage is voltage, it doesn't matter if you start with 5v and use a MAP Clamp or Fuel Computer to reduce it to 4.2v or if you start with 3.8v and use a Fuel Computer to increase it to 4.2v. The bottom line is I DO know what I'm doing, whether or not they agree with me

I recently helped a friend tune his car to 270whp on just 15lbs of boost and 296whp on PUMP gas (obviously this is a stock turbo car); people should ask him if he thinks I know what I'm doing.

it doesn't really matter either way, because you aren't considered a major player in the 10/9s race by those that are init. go ahead and prove them wrong, for some i would be very happy to see it happen. but i don't think it's going to happen. you have your fantasy world here where you're seen as a all-knowing major player, and i've left you alone with it, but for those that are in the race your name is never brought up and aren't a threat by any means.

and i'll call a big fat bull**** flag on 296 fwhp @ 15psi on the stock turbo on a REAL dyno. changing smoothing and correctino factors isn't that hard to do.

I guess if I don't post alot on the SrtForums then people really just don't know much about me. That's ok, I'm not a tuning shop, I'm an individual that helps out the local guys without charging them a dime, in most cases. I'm not really after "national notoriety," if I were I'd be putting my 2 cents in every thread on SrtForums that I could. So if the "major players" don't think I'll be in the 10's much less the 9's, then let them keep their heads in the sand. They may have written me off because my car is taking so long to come back together, but it is finally coming back together and if they expect nothing out of me then they just may have to pick their jaw up off the ground in a month or two.

Go back and re-read that. His car made 270whp @ 15psi, AND then, still on pump gas made 296whp. The 296 was done @ 22psi, dropping to about 17.
