now i know yall are all excited thinkin that i got the kill....WRONG! that thing kicked my ***! he even let me jump him about 3 cars and he still came by me...granted i did miss 4th gear, but it was nasty.....oh yeah....i got killed by an 04 cobra the other day too.....tell me that a wastegate with pipes, 3" exhaust and stage 1 will put me with these cars! its emberassing!

 

well obviously noone found the humor in my thread...sorry if i emberassed all you other srt owners..i feel like i can drive descently, its just my car doesnt have the power to hang with the 300plussers yet. i need some help on what will get me to that point

 

I don't think that is going to be enough to keep up with a 04 cobra, I seen them do high to mid 12's on a stock engine with an experience driver.

S2 w/ supporting would probably let ya hang with them a little better. not to mention some better traction

 

Yeah, you'll hang with them. I got beat the other day by my cousin ('92 LX 5.0 full bolt-on's, gears, Cam'd, 75 shot). He onlypulled 1 car from a 30mph roll till 95-100. I'm only running 17psi...and I don't even have exhaust yet! lol I'll smoke his *** soon enough!

 

He might be able to hang with the gto with the mods he is talking about.

I just looked up a 2006 gto and it's rated at 400 hp, if you want to keep up with it I would look into a stage 2 or better yet stage 3.

i just talked with someone about the s2 and they said that the injectors that come with the kit are in all reality a little to big for the stock turbo...so i think i would peice me a "stage matt" kit and keep the same injectors...maybe go to the 682 or whatever and do a AGP wastegate and try to find me a better computer.

 

s3!!!!!!!!!!????????WTF!!!!you don't need it to beat a damn goat.I raced one last night, 6.0.We rolled from 2nd and I won....and don't even get me started on the 5.7 ones!!and the same guy raced a boosted GTi and got beat too, and he's not a bad driver.Look into my "Hahn Racecraft 20G turbo upgrade"thread....you'll find what you need there.Oh by the way.....some guy in a lambo. tried to race me last night.I went fom 3rd and we stayed neck to neck, he got a car on me cause he jumped first, but he couldn't pull on me.....funny
