Close Call/Almost Nabbed by a Brother Officer

What is the BS with the diplomatic immunity? I know what it is, but why exactly is it? All it means is that a higher up from another country can come here and do absolutely anything with no fear of having to pay for their crimes. They could become a drug kingpin that makes kiddie **** snuff films while torturing, killing and eating Nuns, then go speeding and running lights in a stolen car into a police station holding up his diplomatic papers in one hand which has a severed Nuns head in it and a gun in the other shotting officers and according to the law you can't do a thing about it except run and hope you don't get shot and eaten. I know this is a bit extreme, but then again so is their diplomatic immunity.[:@][:@][:@]
Wow, talk about going from one extreme to another, from happy to sad and PO'd.[sm=sorry.gif][sm=smiley36.gif]

What use to really burn me about that were the Russians who did all their spying under the cover of diplomatic immunity. The worse we could do to them was send them back to the USSR. They also pulled the same trick in Europe against U.S. military installations, you could tell who they were by their special license plates. If you spotted one, you were required to report the date/time/place to the nearest U.S. military base.

I didn't make PSI Chick's... if you want one, the are only a special request now and you need to email me and I'll do it when I have time. My email is DODGEGIRL19@aol.com
I live in Shelby Township Michigan... about 23 miles north of Detroit.
71RR... the DreamCruise is amazing... it's conjested and hard to go anywhere fast... but oooohhh SO worth it.. cars from every aspect come and cruise... it's amazing... one day of complete and utter car madness on one of the busiest roads in Michigan, brings it to a stand still. Dodge goes all out, they have a tent with giveaways and whatnot... it's a ton of fun!! Maybe one day you'll bring the Roadrunner for a spin...

It sounds similar to what goes on here on Brice Rd. during the Mopar Nationals and the Chrysler Classics, except that on Brice it is nothing but Mopars and Mopar fanatics. Sometimes the cops will cut down the traffic to one lane each way, but either way it is a stand still of Mopars mixed with regular traffic. The police are pretty cool about it once in a while and will even allow burnouts on the streets, but other times they will go as far as shutting the road down completely, it all depends on their mood I guess. If I were to go up there for Woodward, I would have to get ahold of a truck and trailer to bring it up. It has to run 110 octane leaded race fuel and it costs $4.50 a gallon right now and at a steady freeway driving pace it will get up to around 10-12 MPG (in town it gets 7.5 MPG).[sm=smiley19.gif][sm=imsmilin.gif][sm=smiley36.gif]
