racing an evo from a dig is not very smart, from a roll you could've had him, well not like it matters because you got pulled over..lol...been there bro, I actually raced a cop in a Maruder. He pulled me over and didn't give me a ticket, but he got out with his gun on his hand and scared the crap out of me, but at the end all I got was a warning

Sorry to say bro... but in VA you lose your car and your license for a year. What city are you in ? .. If it was in the Hampton Roads area I can recommend a good lawyer.

This is why I never "play" unlessway out in the country where all I can see is farm fields.
I did things like this when I was younger though so I understand, I just never got caught.
Better take his advise, call a laywer now and pled to keep your car.
not to change the subject or anything, but OHIO....how does that truck run? how would a skittle do against it...i know traction has to be an issue for you, but from a roll, how would the srt4 to against it? reason i ask is im seein all the videos on utube where a 4 is pretty much runnin all over a 10 (truck). wanted to know if that was normal, cause the skittle sounds stock!
From what I understand stock for stock the truck would edge a 4, but these trucks are NOT easy to drive, so it would be VERY POSSIBLE for a 4 to take a 10 with the wrong driver. If I drive the Viper for a while and get into the truck it takes me a couple minutes to adapt.
Traction is not as bad as you may think, before I bought it I was worried about it. Sure, it is easy to melt the tires, but it is also very possible to get good traction, once again, all about the driver as well as the street surface. They handle well, there is a post I put in the media section with a Ram SRT-10 drifting, check it out. I think it is the post with a subject of Hmmmm.
The advatage you have is the cost! You could take the money you saved on your car and make it very fast. I have to dig deeper into my pockets to get up there. I will be SC'ing within 12 months and that is about a 8.5K project. Just did a full exhaust and that was nearly a 3K project, and that is with me doing the wrench work. Damn thing is addictive, I told myself no mods until this winter, but by October I had 5K in mods on the truck!

With the SC and tune I will be pushing 750-775 crank HP, about 625-650 RWHP. I can only boost about 6 psi
unless I tear down the engine and put forged internals in it. The general rule is about 6 psi with a stock internal GEN III V10. GEN I and early GEN II have forged and the new GEN IV is going back to forged.
so what can you push with forged? im guessing around 10-12. thats just a very uneducated guess...how off am i. that thing is going to be crazy fast with s s/c. im sure its already crazy fast! when you said 3 k$ for some reason i was thinking in just the exhaust pipes....i didnt think about headers and all....so i guess its not that bad, but i bet its loud!!!
ive heard them from the factory and they sound pretty good so id love to hear yours with the aftermarket....you should get a sound clip & post it
