stage 1 or stage 2 upgrade
heyi have a srt4 turbo manifold coming soon and i wanted to know where i could get a stage 1 or stage 2 turbo upgrade for it...and how much will i be looking at
Depends on what you want to do in the long run.
I have S1 on my ride. The reason I went with S1 instead of S2 is because I pan on gettng S3 when the car is paid off. Couple more years... 1-2...
If you are not going to ger S3 I would grab S2 with toys.
Not sure on your mods, but I would get a 3" exhaust before dumping money in a stage kit. You will free up more power right away and the stage kits are programed for a free flowing exhaust.

they have great prices and a great company to deal with.

i know about modern performance, just recently decided to do the srt4 turbo manifold setup and i never went on that part of the site...was always on the first-gen section.
but if those are your cars.....nice[sm=bling.gif]

Is this turbo going on your 1st Gen?
If so then you don't want either the S1 or the S2 unless you're using an SRT-4 ECU, as the main component in both of those is the ECU.
Did you get the turbo and the manifold, or just the manifold?

its the turbo and manifold..custom i havemade adapter plateto bolt up to my sohc.
but i thought the staged upgrades for srt4s were just bigger turbos....which is what im looking for in the future...only plan on running 8-10 psi for now....looking for 250whp with supporting fuel mods and other bolt ons.

Stage 1 is an ECU (and larger injectors for 2003 SRT-4's)
Stage 2 is an ECU, a new WGA, larger injectors, and new MAP & TIP sensors (also has the option of "with toys" which gives you "dial-a-boost", "High Octane Mode" and an Intercooler sprayer (water)).
Stage 3 is an ECU, larger injectors, a new fuel tank module (fuel pump & pressure regulator), a new fuel rail, and a new, larger turbo, complete with a completely different exhaust manifold and O2 housing. (also has the "with toys" option, same as S2).
So basically there isn't any mopar upgrade that will really work with what you have. There are, however, other companies that modify the stock turbo that supposedly take it's max up to about 350whp.
Edit: If you're just looking for 250whp, then the stock SRT-4 turbo is more than enough.250whp will be about 15psi though; give or take a few psi depending on mods. Look for an aftermarket WGA like the S2 WGA or the AGP unit and/or a boost controller of some sort.

People have run as much as 24-25 "peak" out of them, but that falls off to about 17 @ redline.
Edit: Of course on a 2.0L it'll be a little different, but then you have a higher redline than a stock SRT does, IIRC.
