used to live in Mobile though....still go down every once and a while...thats only like 1.5 hrs. from pensacola

He lives on the east coast i think. However id be willing to take a road trip. Since i bought my car i find all kinds of excuses to get out and drive. My wife tells me to go to the store and as im walking out the door she reminds me that the store is only a couple of blocks away and that 2 hours for a gallon of milk is a bit rediculous.

 

yeah i know what you mean...i posted this yesterday, but i find myself getting in my car and driving around downtown B'ham on my lunch break....especially through UAB campus. i like to see how many heads i can turn! they're do doubt an absolute joy to drive....the only thing i dont like is when i have to go a long distance i sure do miss having cruise control! thats the best radar detector money can buy if you ask me....i love the cup holders, comfort of the seats, power, stereo....everything about these cars except that one thing!

Sure wish i could find my own group here. I know these things are out here. However at 27 im older than any of the guys ive seen driving around here. I just wish there wasnt such a stuck up mentality around here. The local horsepower boys been letting me hang around them. Seems they are a bit older than i am and they are truly fascinated by the design of the turbos in these cars, reverse spinning and all. hehe seems the old muscle car boys know a thing or 2 i can learn. Right now im trying to make friends with some mechanics that are into tuning 4's. I think this is my last post in this thread hehe its been derailed and then derailed some more lol.

 

good luck to you man...youll get in with some people. try parking lots....i met up with a bunch of guys that can supposively get sponsors last friday night just hangin out in a parking lot...i just drove up to them and started talking, of course that was after i was with 3 other srt4's though. theyre out there though, just track them down
