I'm in California, and I always get the good old window roll-up, maybe cause I'm a girl, I don't know, then I just fly off the line and show them I CAN actually drive, they usually roll their window down at the next light.

I didn't like the skittle name at first, now it doesn't bother me.

 

well that happens....I've never gotten the "rolled up window"....usually we stop and talk for a while, or just give thumbs up and drive away.

 

usually if i pull, i let off while still at a reasonable speed (right around the speed limit) and captain jackass will go flying by me. but point is proven by then, most that try to rev at me are POS rice burners. If its say an sti or evo, i might not even bother racing them just b/c speeds would have to get high for me to 1. catch up off the launch and 2. if i can overtake them it wont be until well over the speed limit. sure i have done it but streetracing is the devil.

as for being a skittle, this thread is actually the first i have heard the term... but i like it, saved the picture too! so im a proud skittle owner i guess

 

I was on my way down the freeway to pay my storage bill on saturday and this new silver GTO creeps up in the left lane only going about a couple more mph's than me as I was in the middle lane behind a mini van or something and I see him quite a ways back coming up very slowly. The traffic is fairly heavy ahead of me and a bit lighter behind me, so I see him the entire time and think nothing of it since he wasn't speeding up, just very slowlyapproaching as one going slightly faster would and nothing changes as he comes along side until he decides to show off by downshifting and flooring it. It sounded good, but I wasn't impressed and I wasn't about to try anything in fairly thick traffic. He only had afew car lengths in his lane ahead of him that was open when he did that and I think he only did it because he knew nothing could be done about it in that traffic, at least not without causing a wreck. Nothing like a big dollar domestic ricer.

I never got the whole name thing and I think skittle sounds stupid, but I guess it no worse than the WRX's being called scoobys. I know there's a few others, I just cannot think of them right now.

 

I've beaten 2 allready, a 5.7 and a 6.0.And STis about 2...one of them was a wrx with STi motor, really nice car, but not fast enough.But I respect them and I got the same back, except the guy with the 6.0 gto....he got pissed and wouldn't talk to me...lol....he kept saying I sprayed my car, and I did the next reasonable thing....I popped the trunk, opened the hood, and all 4 doors and asked him to look for the bottle.He never found a damn thing.....dumb goat!!!

i got beat by a 6.0 the other night. and i dont mean just beat....he slaughtered me! but as u all know that my cold pipe w/block off plate (which should fix my boost leak) will b here in a couple of days and then i should be back on track!!!! im gonna call that guy whenever my baby is runnin right again and then we shall see......
