srt4 shifter knob
Yeah, my girlfriend just bought a brand new Lancer Ralliart and it has a pretty heavy duty stock front strut bar..... I like the stiff feel it gives that car and would like that on my SRT4. That is the exact model I was looking at..... was suprised at how cheap it was and how easy the installation looks.
Yeah, the thing doesn't come with install instructions, so ya gotta wing it....it's a simple bolt on...just don't overtighten the nuts when you put it on.....
I have the same MPx bar that dusty has and I like it. I would have bought the DC CS-2 because it is far more rigid and stiffer, but the plate on it blocks the air from the hood scoop from getting to the turbo. I do happen to have the DC CS-2 in the rear though and it is a very strong peice that matches the trunk well. I have the polished aluminium/chrome thing going on under the hood anyway and the MPx fit that look perfectly.[sm=exactly.gif]
mpx bar is good - I got the dc carbon steel and love it too, tho. and I also like the fact that it is custom made 100% for our car. the extra 40$ dosen't bother me - it's a real nice piece and its solid rather than adjustable(imo better that way but not sure what others think.)
The only issue I have w/the dc rather than the mpx is that the dc blocks a little of the airflow from the hood scoop over the turbo, but no prob.'s so far.

The air flow blockage was the only reason I didn't go with the dc STB. I like the looks better, but in this 100 degree weather and stop and go traffic, the turbo needs all the air it can get....
It's a matter of preference. And anyone on DF can ask any questions they feel like. Don't cut him short.
BTW, I agree, "get something you like".[sm=trust_me.gif]
