not too long ago i just had my stage2 and my maxxfab side exit exhaust done (w/o cat). when my car is cold it spits out some what alot of white smoke out of my exhaust. but thats only when the car is sitting in idle, once i start driving it it stops. im thinking i blew a head gasket when i was over boosting. can you let me know if thats what it is or can it just be because i have no cat or resenators?

 

If it's cold outside then what you're probably seeing is condensation in the exhaust. Overnight water accumulates in your exhaust and when you start your car the exhaust heats up and starts evaporating the water. All cars do it, some more than others, the bigger the exhaust, the more water can accumulate.

 

yup, if you live in a colder climate its proably not 'smoke'at all, but water vapor
