Default New motor mounts or inserts

Most of my Stage 2 stuff is on the way (I'm still looking for a deal on the sensors) but I need to know whether I should buy just motor mount inserts or buy all new motor mounts?

Get the AGP mounts, I have the inserts and wished I just spent the extra money on the full mounts.

inserts might help but not much.Just buy the real thing.I bought the AGP ones(motor mounts), they should get here in 2 weeks because there were none in stock. But you can get them at turboneonstore.com too.

I have read in here many times that if you get the solid mounts you need to be prepared for a lot of vibration. The inserts help tighten the slop up but don't cause your fillings to fall out. Since my car is my daily driver I went with the inserts.

The vibration is what I'm worried about. Can those with either comment on how much vibration there actually is and how much they helped with wheel hop?

well in the long run you are gonna need solid motor mounts.....but if you plan on keeping the car pretty stock, not too many mods then inserts are right for you.

What is considered "pretty stock"? I've got Stage 2 w/ Toys coming and plan on getting an exhaust, FMIC, and W/I. Probably not much more after that.

inserts are a waste of time. i had them, i should have never bothered with them.

the vibration isn't that bad once the mounts break in. the poly bushings are very stiff at first so the vibration is very noticable. once they're in the car for a couple of weeks the poly flexes a little more and the vibration noticably drops. i barely even feel the virbation anymore.

i have the agp solid mounts and the tranny mount. i think it is good vibration(feels more race like) and the wheel hop dissapeared. just need better traction cause i spin more now. you get used to the vibration until you cut on the defrost/air conditioning. it increases and you'll notice the noise of the compressor when the clutch grabs.the tranny also is noisier but i didn't buy this car for luxury driving.
