C'mon - it's only been 2 years...lol[8D]
After reading some of these replies I'm embaresed. My 1st run I ran 16.1. Bit Listen . It was my 1st time ever on a drag stip . I Left the tire pressure at 32 psi on stock tires , missed 2nd gear and pulled the **** off of the shifter LOL.(Anyone here ever done that?) 2nd run dropped the Tires to 22 psi got 2nd clean and ran a 14.1. Since then have managed a 13.9 with just an intake (K&N Typhoon). SRT4 is a car thats needs to be driven right to get good times. Baby it of the line get it rolling then get ugly with it. I love 3rd gear with it hooked up and pulling like it's gonna run ot from under you. The Viper seats are there for a reason. They hug you to let you know it's ok. GO LIKE HELL ! Since then have dropped the car on progress springs, added a MPX 3"exhaust ,Iridium plugs and MSD Wires, Bridgestone SO3 tires, and stage 2 is going in this weekend. Look out 13.1 here I come. Is that a rational goal?

lol 14.2 second car is frigin fast for its price.
the only other cars from 30,000$ and down....sti and evo wud be the only ones that can beat the srt4 "STOCK" if everything was stock....srt4's beat wrx and s2000's grand am?? -_-
DONT ASK!! stuff like that.

The 3800 super charged motor in the Grand Prix GTX is the fast one. I've seen flat 14 in the ¼ mile out of stock cars. They make the car in both 2 and 4 doors. But I think both are above the $30K mark.
The biggest reason the SRT-4 is the fastest FWD production car.....is the fact its so light.....most of its competitors are either non Turbo, non S/C, and weigh roughly 600-900lbs more.
If you were to put them all on an even platform, the SRT-4 wouldnt be the fastest. That said, I'm very impressed with the power out of the SRT-4 motor....
Also, the 3800 SC came in the Grand Prix GTP and the Bonneville GXP. I still want one of the 2dr GTP's.....super sweet ride.....seen a 3800SC dropped in a Beretta....was doin 12's on a regular.....was modified some...but not as much as you might think...
