well, if its a stock part, can someone send me a pic of exactly what this disconnect looks like... so i can check it for piece of mind. i do apologize though, i thought you were referring to an aftermarket part.

 

sorry not to jump in sooner i 'm sick. it was not just one car, its beenhundreds and not just srt's. because they were using the same q.d on other models,they have stopped using it now .it had nothing to do with the mods that were made to the car . the q.d. is made of plastic and suffered a heat failure per the chrysler rep who was put in charge of investigating not only my fire but 7 others withen a six month period. if it were a mod issue they had every oppertunity to get out but insteadrefunded every payment made on the car and allmods i had paperwork for to include upgraded turbo , innercooler AND SO FORTH .as far as chrysler i've sung nothing but praise because of the way this was handled and in no way was i putting them down it was a word of advise to other owners to look out for . if i had a problem i would have got rid of my srt-8 and the lime green 07 charger i purchased 2 weeks ago .ENJOYED THE CONVERSATION

 

well, lets see some pictures of those other beasts, especially the charger!!! i would also like to know where this q/d is so it can be checked

 

THE Q.D IS LOCATED ON THE PASSENGER SIDE OF THE CAR AT THE FIRE WALL WHERE THE STEEL FUEL LINE COMES UP FROM THE TANK I'LL POST SOME PICS AS SOON AS I CAN GET THEM OUT OF THE GARAGE WE HAVE ALOT OF SNOW RIGHT NOW BUT AS SOON AS I GET THEM OUTSIDE I'LL POST SOME THE CHARGER IS THE ONE THE COLOR SAYS IT ALL
