Why wouldnt you just keep the srt that you have do alittle upgrading on it that instead of playing around with something that god knows how many problems can occur. just my 2 cents
the word divorce says it all.

damn dude....im sorry to hear about that. i really hope u get to keep ur car man. that would make it just that much harder for u im sure. but even if u couldnt keep it, that other neon would be a fun little car to have. im sure it will fly and it wouldnt take that much to make that look pretty darn good. ive been meaning to ask u, will u be able to drive the car first or are u going to have it shipped to u?

my STBX is actually living on the MD line, it would be more a car for her that is less expensive. she is absolutely in love with the srt4, and if she could hack the payments i might consider letting her keep it... (in which case i would swap my sxt or get somethin like the 1st gen). it also looks like a fun toy for myself should i financially have to give up the srt.

yeah its really not the most appealing to the eyes, but it could be. u could make that car look nice as hell and then youve already got the faster engine in a lighter car, so u should be set up pretty good for speed. it would deff. be a fun project car!

well then that would deff. be what u want. 2 me i need a car thats gonna look as good as it runs. but like i said, 5k$. you'll have a 240hp neon w/ a turbo that you can make as fast as neone would need/want a car 2 b and youll have a body that you could make however u wanted. youll be saving so much $ on insurance that if you threw the difference into the car every month or every other month then you would have one of the fastest and prettiest 1st gen. neons around. at 1st glance those body styles are nowhere near as appealing as the new ones, but with some love & attention they CAN look a whole lot better than our srt's do. if it were me, id take that chance and get the car....that is if the dude has all the right info that you need to make u feel good about the deal

Just looked at the stuff myself,I would say that's not a bad dealif the car checks out and all. I would go for it. U want a sleeper, you got a good one right there. Lesser insurance payments especially. Not too shabby. IfI were you thoughI would want to see the car in person first and probably test drive it. I bought a car froma dealershipin the states while I was over here for my wife, needless to say the car was overall fine but there was a couple things they didn't tell us. It coulda been worse. So heed that while looking if your not going to see the car b4 buying.

yeah thats deff. a concern that u have to deal with. u kinda have to put faith in someone you've never met and hope that they will do u right. especially if its someone that doesnt sale a lot of stuff online, someone who wouldnt care if you get online and tell everyone not to deal with b/c hes does bad business......u no what i mean? ive learned that even as much as u want 2, u really cant trust half the people out there...if not more than half. tell him u need detailed pics of every single square " on the car, u need a list of any and every bad spots, malfunctions, troubles....anything u can think of, cover it b4 u give him $ so there should be no surprises
