Someone is selling mea vortech fmufor $100, is it worth it?I also got a map clam.Wich one should I install?I think I need a return line to put the fmu on...am I right?

sorry ed.....not too familiar with map clamps or even what a fmu is or stands for.....break it down for me and i might can help find some info

I did some research on it and it is better than map clamp.I'm gonna sell the mapclap so if you got 50 bucks or come up with something better it's yours!!!Just gotta put it on properly and tune it right

a vortech fmu is for a return fuel line. it restricts the fuel in the return line and bump pressure to the fuel injector. it uses a vacum line. there are differnt ratio to. you need to figure which one you will need for your setup. there is also and adjustable one too. I believe a map clamp controls fuel by fooling the computer that it is seeing a different voltage. it's not a simple as that but I think that is what a map clamp does. I'm not sure if that is the way a map clamp works.
