that does sound like a lug or plug wire problem. i havent replaced my plugs so i dont know what kind u should get...i think they should be 35mm gapped though. as far as reseting the computer....take the positive battery cable off for about a minute or so....that should do it

Im hoping its a sparkplug problem. Im just wondering if i need to take it to the dealership, since they still owe me another 14 days of pure responsibility.

Also on the code clearing thing is it possible to do through the fuse box and the pullin of a fuse?

why bother taking it to the dealer? they're just gonna replace the crappy plugs and wires with new crappy plugs and wires.

get a set of msd wires and ngk 4306 plugs, gap them to around .040 and you should be good to go. if the code pops up again it might be a clogged injector, and in that case take it in and make them give you a new one.

to reset the ecu either disconnect the battery or pull the fuel pump relay (#21) in the fuse box under the hood.

Very specifically, remove the negative battery cable, never remove the positive cable 1st.

I have a spark plug socket wrench.....is this tool universal for all spark plugs or are they different from say honda to dodge?
Do spark plugs go bad often with these cars? Where is the best place to purchase new plugs and wires? Is it dangerous driving the car in in this condition while i wait for my wires and plugs to ship? Also, how do i convince my wife that the dealership knows less about my car than this forum does? I really dont trust this local dealership they are super shady. Some guy was supposed to call me involving my extended warranty...(i know i know extended warranties are the devil, wife made me do it)....well i took my car in because the oil pressure sensor and the o2 sensor were upset. This guy never called me, to talk to me about the condition of my extended warranty. My whole car is a big grey area of contractual no no's. They sold me a used car with aftermarket mods on it. Which is against the law for them to do here. Its like they never inspected the car.

Either way sorry for the derail. Anyone have any answers to the questions above.

Thanks for the great answers so far.

P.s. PSI CHICK i will be purchasing the wires and plugs you mentioned....just want to say my wife has been reading the forums, because i am trying to convince her that this forum is the place to get knowledge about my car. She thinks its awesome that you are one of the most knowledgable people here.
