Well I dunno about the SRT but i installed one on my probe. Since it was my first car its was a headache and a half. It consisted of removing the boot, snap rings, and crap from the top then going underneath the car and disconnecting the shifter from the shift lever and installing the new one in reverse order. It's wasn't that bad and if I had to do another on it probably would take me about 30 to 45 mins at the most. They are pretty easy. I'll help to look for an install since I need to do one also. PSI Chick, where can we check out the maddog?

Here I found a place for it, I dunno if it's really for a SRT but it's a STS install from Mopar so i'm guessing it is.

it takes 20min-30min to install a shifter your first time. if you're not doing bushings it's even shorter.
