it's real easy to check your ic clamps - there are 4 - 3 are a cinch to get to if you raise the front of the car on ramps the 4th is a little tough to get to.
There is a diagram on the forum showing where they are.
Been watching the problem and it doesnt seem to be getting better. Im now boosting into the 17s in 3rd. I think ill take her into the dealer and have them take a look. Also im not sure what the part is called stock, but im able to hear the boost relief when i shift. Its not super loud like anywhere near the BOVs but i didnt notice it before. Is this normal?
the car comes factory with a "blow off valve" (surge valve or whatever else they choose to call it)... point is, I could hear the "blow off" on my car factory... not very loud at all... but it could be heard if I knew what I was listening for... I would imagine with higher boost PSI (17 as you are saying) you would notice it more... the 17 PSI is curious to note though, I get 13 as my high... thanks Michigan weather!
its hot her but it appears that the boost is that high in 3rd and im not winding the gear out. Its weird from second to 3rd it will drop, then bounce up to about 14-15, pull back alittle then boost to 17.
