Default Dyno Numbers

Yesterday it was Dyno Day at Japtrix racing.I didn't think anybody else would show up, but there were 5 other srt4s there. And the owner said that the one with the most hp would get a $10 discount.I ended up doing 257whp at 17psi.I tried at 21 psi and hit a huge fuel cut, so had to lower the boost.Torque was pretty good, don't remember, left the sheet at home. The owner of the shop also told us that we could take those dyno numbers anywhere, that it is one of the most accurate and tough dynos we can find.I think it was a mustang dyno 4x4.i think that is pretty good for a wastegate, exhaust and intake.

mustang dyno and accurate shouldn't be in the same sentence lol.

nice numbers, don't bother taking it above 19psi, it's useless after that.

unless you're doing some serious work it's not worth it.not only do you have to spend the 2kto get the unit, it will run you at least another 500-1k to tune it.and unless you're looking at the 450-500hp+ club it's hard to justify spending that kind of money on a management system. just get a piggy back and call it a day.

which ever one you have the budget for really. if you're looking for a boost controller as well, the fcbc is a great choice. it does everything in one, and you can hook your wideband up to it as well so you can see a/fs over boost and more. it's really a great set up. but it's not cheap. if you don't have the extra cash to spend, a fc w/mbc isn't a bad choice either. either way you can't really go wrong.
