lol...where should i beging!!!first of...why did you buy a needswing dp with cut out if you're not gonna use it?you'll see max power with the cutout opened.Look what i think you should do is sell it and buy a regular dp and also buy the 02 housing together, wich will also help.Maxxfab.com...go there and you can get the 02 housing and dp at a fair price.If you planning on keeping the needswing, just open it when you race....after your done close it back up.let me know if this helps,trust me i wont be the only one to reply to your thread

 

well i bought the car the way it is bout 3 weeks ago havent done anything to it yet it came with a 50trim,upgraded fmic,injectors, fuel lines etc, the needswing dp, o2 housing has been upgraded too, but stock cat-back i opened the dp yesterday the car seems to run better but that thing is loud as hell i dont mind as much as my girl everytime she get in the car opens her mouth it gets annoying, like the fact you hear the turbo spooling 3 miles away though and love the look on peeps face , thats why i dont want to close it but close it at the same time, if power difference its not that much with the dp been close (not loosing 20+hp) i dont ming doing so, i was getting up to 22psi with it being closed same as now...anybody care to chime in

 

i suggest you leave the dp opened just when you go to the track and stuff.Congrats on the new car.You should take it to a dyno or track and get some numbers.the stock cat-back has restriction.So like I said before, open that baby up when you race or wanna scare mustangs away, other wise leave it closed if it bothers your girl

 

Yes, wise words. It seems that the previous owner installed it like that for the very reason that Redevil speaks to. You maintain the stock appearance (except for the FMIC), but obviously can push more than that. No car is girlfriend proof completely, but at least you have somewhat of an option. You could spend the money to put a better catback on there, but that is your call for with the cutout you wouldn't get anymore bang for your buck.

depends how much boost you pushing and mods.I would say from 5 to 10 hp.Now o2 housing with turboback should be more in th 15s.With the open dp you should be getting a lot more, so I suggest again to leave it open to race and close it down before your girl gets in...someone's getting whipped!!!!!!lmao

 

nah is not about that it does bother me driving it like that all the time and all the vibration it makes feels like all the bolts are comingh off, do they sell an electric mechanism that opens and closes the cut out ? its a pain going under this low car to open and close every time...
