Ofcourse you could get heat resistant paint, and paint it with someprimer

just messin' with you.
why does the last picture with the painted emblems look wet??? the black looks wet to me?? but only in spots??

why didnt you take the cover off, would've been a whole lot easier.

Because, I used WD-40 to clean the paint that spilled around the letters... So it's still wet there.

Advice: Don't use very rough paper, then you get scratch on the letters and the paint doesn't fill them up

What's the name of the paint you used. I wouldn't mind painting the cover itselfand the lettters. Did you used sand paper and primer b4 you painted them?

Yeah I'm deff gon do that, my car has 7500 miles on it and the letters are already fading.
