Has anyone heard of a MBC going bad? If so whats theeffects of one going bad? I think mine might be taking a S--t. Not so much a boost leak, but the boost will drop little by little. Kinda like it flutters as it drops. HMMM____?

 

mbc's can go bad, it doesn't happen all that often though. usually they stop holding boost completly or hold erratic boost.

 

manual boost controllers suck ***!!! get an electronic one.. i have a greddy prospec II... works awesome..

 

yea but for about $250 less a mbc is a good second choice as long as you get one with a locking nut. the problem is with the ones that can self-adjust, those ones suck!
