what's the deal with this bow? is it good?I'm asking because my friend bought an srt4 like 2 days ago.Some of you might even know the previous owner, he was on srtforums.The car is fully built.It's got everything you can think of, even the roll cage inside to hook up the seatbelt harnes.Its caramel and the guy who owned it livesin Ft.Laureldel, Fl.The car is suposed to be makin like 450 to the wheels and ran 11s at the track.Well its got an oil leak, and some gauges didnt work.Few problems, but we're getting them fixed.Well his got a turbo XS bov, and I liked it very much, so much that now I want the RFL but don't know if it's better than my raptor.Can anyone gimme a hand?

 

I have one. The type HI think its really loud but I love it! Haven't had any problems with it yet and its been on for a year. The one thing im not to sure of about it thought is that it does blow off under vac. Any quick change in the throttle it opens sometimes just a little though. It holds the boost though no leaks! as far as better then your raptor I dunno?

 

so the xs H-RFL is the loudest one?i don't care if it blows on vac...lol....I heard some sound clips and it sounds nice...does it sound like a mopar but louder? because the clip I heard sounded like that, mayb it was the editing or something

 

All I know is that its loud! Turboxs website says "its still really f'n loud!" and, "If you need to ask how loud it is, this valve is too loud for you!" lol!!! and it is definetly a psshhh sound not like some people describe theres as a lazer sound Its not that!

 

well i told my friend to give me his turbo xs and i gave him my raptor.WOW....i love it man!!It sounds better in my car, and my raptor sounds better in his so its a win-win for all.But I'll deff. buy the RFL later on.Thanks man

i think some bovs leak because their are mounted on wrong.The mopar one is just plain crap, it'll leak no matter what.But I'm very happy with this bov, I'll be doing a boost leak test in a few days just to make sure everything is good.Hey motorboy you got a clip or you bov I can hear? at myspace or youtube or something?

 

sorry redevil no sound clips at the moment. let me know if urs leaks though if so maybe ill test mine, but I doubtit, likeI said 20psi spike holding 18andI dont hear a leak.
