ok, i bought an agp wastegate and i put it on got it tuned to 16 dropping to 13 at redline. i took out the black line and ran the green from the turbo to the wastegate with the bleed. but my car is soo slow, it doesnt pull half as hard as it used to?? i dont understand it doesnt seem tohave any leaks andi just changed my oil today along with a new filter. still slow. i have no clue what to do now im going to buy new spark plugs and wires to see if that helps but does anybody have any suggestions?

 

first off, take out that stupid bleed. second, check for boost leaks.

 

whats a bleed? one of those white Ts that makes the car spike like 25 psi?

 

yup that's a bleed. it's basically a hole in the line. great idea there.....not sure why the hell agp insists on telling people to use those stupid things.

 

So what you saying is. Not to have any "White Tee's" in line with any of the hoses or lines on the car? Does this cause a boost leak or what?

 

alright thanks psi, i have to go to work but i plan on doing this tonight. can anybody get me a how to on building a boost leak tester my friend had one but he moved to tennessee for college so i need to make my own.

 

Bleed's or bleeders are BAD!! It is used to reduce the boost that thecomputer see's, thus allowing the turbo to overboost. This may sound good until your engine blows apart. If the computer doesn't read the actual boost it won't add enough fuel for all the added air your putting in there and it will lean out and then comes detonation and the need for a new engine.

 

well i think i may have already messed something up my car sputters and dies out when i get into boost. the ptb is sooo bad its killing me to even drive it to the store.

 

the reason that your ptb is so bad is because of that stupid bleed. it causes to high a spike. if you want to reduce ptb throw on a mbc.

alright thanks, does anybody know why its sputtering and dieing out when in boost? maybe no fuel imspiking 16 pounds with no fuel upgrades on right nowif that helps. it dies out then kicks in real hard and pulls all the way to redline with no prob.
