Default Tragic...

alright guys, before I post my stuff on the For Sale section I want to let you cali heads know whats up first. To begin with... The total loss occured sunday night 3/4/07at a very well know mountain road here in so cal. A buddy of mine and I were headed downhill on our way home, just cruising, single lane, max speed no more than 35, some idiot in a black honda civic hatchback was running uphill without his headlights. We had no idea there was anyone going up the road... this was at 1am. This idiot was double laning... crossed onto our lane, scared the **** out of my friend causing him to lock brakes and go straight into the mountain side, I was about 1 1/2 car lengths behind my friend, by this time that civic was right infront of me so I had two choice, steer around him fall of the cliff, go straight at him, or steer around him and hit my friend, I just remember trying to not hit anyone or anything at all, almost made it but the civic ended up side swiping me on my drivers side passenger door, causing me to loose rear traction and straight into my buddies car. Here are pictures of the aftermath...

I have a couple parts for sale... a front upper strut bar (never installed), stock springs, stock cold side pipe, brand new OEM brake pads (front), axle back dual tips 4 inch tips 3 inch pipe. I will post up picks later on when I can, Also stock cat w/ downpipe.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I know it hurts your pride. At least I know it did when I got in my accident. Some dumb girl and her friend pulled out of a shopping center and slammed into my passenger side fender. Luckily there was no internal damage. Only had to replace the fender, front bumper, and replace the A/C condenser line.
I was devastated, so I cant begin to imagine how you feel now. Its like our cars have bullseyes on them..lol. Anyways good luck with whatever you decide to do next.

The guy in the honda got away. His car was still driveable, he did leave behind a souvenier though, a bbs style hub cap, damn ricer. For sure he will eventually get what is coming to him. I am just more upset about my car, I worked hard on fine tuning the suspension, getting my setup right, luckily I didn't have my regular canyon rims/tires on, I threw the stockers back on that same day. I have GAP insurance so that is being taken care of, just a hassle to deal with.
