Thanks Millenium and Dusty and bye bye. I appreciate the help. What hose is that there pointing at. I see one black one way to the right, a braded hose on top of that and another black on to the left. I see the hose arrow 2 points at but is arrow one pointing at the same hose but you just cant see it because it is tucked in there, or is the hose already disconnected in that pic?

Tell me if this is correct. As I understand the diagram, you disconnect this emissions hose plug the new hose in there than run hose, than cut it put in the catch can , run the rest of the hose back around and it looks like it is going into the black thing( I'm sorry don't know what is called Is this correct?? Is there a hole or something made there to connect it or is the hose your origionally disconnected coming from?

Also does that old hose just get thown away or what because I didnt see reconncect the emissions hose anywhere, unless I missed it.

One more ? I was reading up on SRTforums and some people say leave the filter out and other say you gotta have it, this filter they speak of on the forum and in the directions is inside the catch can??? or a different part.

Sorry I want to be damn sure of what I'm doing before I even thing about doing this.

lemme take a picture of what I have for ya. I didn't remove the original one, just added to it. I alos have the filter out. Some say leave it but I figure it's not an oil filter and I would think it's more restricing than anything. BRB with pics.

I've noticed it collects a little more oil with the white stone filter out of the "can"......

Use the parts from the parts list that you found. Should be the can, fuel hose, hose clamps and the walboro or what ever air filter kit and get the 5/8 nipples and couplings that they say to get. When you go to the hardware store for these items you should start your search in the air compressor section. Here are some photos I took to help clear things up.

I drover 36 miles after installing mine and it had oil in it. I removed my filter since its not really a filter. Its just something to catch oil. It seemed to have better flow without the filter as well. Glad I could help. But these guys are the real pros im just passing out what they told me when i joined.

P.S watch your hose routing. My first attempt i cut the hose to short and i kinked it. You dont wanna do that. On another note make sure the car is cool its alot easier. OUCH!

The ones I used were Campbell Hausfeld MP5138 multi-purpose mini air filter. You can get them at Auto Zone for $12.99 or $13.99.

The main downside of the $20 catch can is that it is so small it needs to be emptied about every 2 weeks otherwise you might wind up sucking a huge of gob oil into your intake and that is not good...

This guy on ProMoly on the SRTForum has designed a can similar to the GReddy one that costs $25. I ordered one a week ago from him. Read about his can here: http://srtforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=69275

It is much larger and will not need to be emptied nearly as often. Cans similar to his normally cost at least $50 so that is a pretty good deal.
