Default boost cut

Alright let see if I can get this right. So I'm heading down the freeway in 5th gear and decide to give it some gas to pass and the turbo starts to cough and sputter and I quess the boost cut outon me. I leave the gas massed down out offrustation and now the damm car spitts and sputters when I get on the gas. I cant even boost pass 10 psi with out the sputtering happening. I have changed the plugs and still nothing.Part throttle is good to 5 psi, and after that nothing but ****. Any Ideas, man I'm @a lost. I have an AGP wgt and a boost controller (MBC), w/ a **** load of bolt ons. What cha think? Thanks

i think you need to lower your boost buddy.same thing happens to me when I floor it at low rpms in 4th or 5th.If you take your boost down to 17 maybe 18 then it wont do it, but if you spike 20+ then yeah it'll keep doing it.Stock fuel system sucks but you have to learn to live with it.Good luck

nah i dont think so.are you stepping on it on high gears at low rpms?cause if you are you're still gonna get it.Race fuel helps a lot, it did for me.

Sounds like the mtr. leaning out under boost, if it's poping back through air intake.

the cheapest way to fix that is buying a fuel pump and a map clamp.....but Im not a big fan of map clamps.I still get boost cuts but in 4th and 5th only if I step on it at low rpms. But running from 1st to 4th I have no problem, also rolling from 2nd.Race fuel helps.I dunno what to say.Boost cuts usually happen when theres is too much boost, like spiking 22 psi.But since you lowered the boost and dave is running stock boost then I'm kinda lost here.Im sure someone more knowledgeable will dig in and give you guys a hand.

if ur car isbreaking upafter 5 psi then its ur coil pack. i had the same problem. i knew some people who worked at the dodge dealership n we could not figure out what it was cause it wasnt throwing any codes.i took everything off n broughtmy car back to stock but it was still breaking up. if ur car is cutting out after 17psi then it fuel cut. u have 2 choices, u can get a stage 1 ecu which will eliminate that problem or u can buy a fuel cut defencer and a boost cut defencer. try that then post back
