i was driving around today and i was runing alittle hot it seemed today.. usually my temp is below 200 but today it was alittle over 200.. is that what u peeps are running.. plus it was 60-70 degree day out and really not that humid.. thanks!!!

 

I used to run just a hair under 200 until I put on the intake and BOV, then it runs slightly higher than 200 normally, and even a little higher than that when I really get into it. I can't attribute anything but the mods to the sudden temp rise, however it is still in normal range

 

the fans don't kick on until about 210 or so, so seeing slightly above 200 degrees is normal. if you want to adjust it put in a 180 thermostat and do the fan mod.

tap into the blue w/pink wire, run it into the cabin, attach it to a switch and groud it. that way you can manually turn on your fans whenever you want. they will still kick in when they're supposed to if you don't use the switch, but you can turn them on earlier if you want.

 

ahh.. i probably wont do that.. to much work and i dont wanna **** sumething up!! thanks.. yeah today it ran like normal 180 degrees.. i dunno..

 

I can easily hit the point where the fans kick on when driving in stop and go traffic (normal here in San Antonio) in the summer. I may try some "water wetter" this summer......

water wetter is good stuff, i always use it in all my cars. it really does help and for $10 you can't beat it
