Spoiler/Wing
Has anyone else had an problems with their "wing" on the back???
I noticed it yesterday while cleaning my car that the drvier side of the "wing" where it mounts to the deck lid appears to be "pulling away from the trunk"... I opened the trunk and tightened the bolts on that side but it didn't appear to do anything. I don't think the spoiler will rip off, but there is a noticable** (to me that is, and that is all that matters) gap between the wing and the deck lid
**it's not really that bad, but I noticed it, and that is enough for me to get aggrevated (sp) by it!

The only time I touch the wing is to wax it. I can open/close the trunk with one finger pressed against the keyhole!!![sm=smiley36.gif]
I guess I should add to my original statements above, I too do not lift the trunk lid by the wing... that's why it "moving" bothers me!!! if I yanked on it, then it would make sense for it to be "moving"...
The only thing that bothers me about the wing is when I wash it, water loves to hide under there and dribble out over the next 24-48 hours. I've gone to using those Armor-All Car Wash Wipes. They're quicker and easier and give the car a nice "wet look".
Take it to the dealer and tell them it's coming off. I'm sure if there isn't any noticable damage or abuse that they will try to fix it or replace the whole thing. It's under warranty unless you gone over the mileage.
