Default backfire and bogged down? Help

Hey guys, Last week I had injector probs. I replaced it and good as new. This week my car seems to bog down and backfire. I dont really know how to explain it. It only seems to do it in low rpms. Almost like it wants to die on me. any advice?

NGK plugs (and wires)... or at least MSD plug wires...
Denso plugs are good also (though I have to keep saying NGK since they give me a pay check)... HA!

go for the Iridiums or double Platinums... I don't have stock numbers in front of me.

i have to say the denso irridiums over the ngk. we tried the ngk's on chris's car (nyydynasty) and they were awful. had spark blow out all over the place, regapped them. still had a very rough idle, was having major hesitations and the car was just running like poop. swaped them out for a set of denso 16's and the car's been running like a champ since. i just stick with them. i'm switching to the 22's actually, want to see if that helps.

as for wires, just about any will do. you can even use the upgraded 8.5mm mopar ones. we go through wires so fast it's not worth spending a ton of money on. if you want ones that last a little longer and are willing to pay, when you get the denso's you can get wires with them that are high temp wires. i'm using the 10mm versions and they've been good for about a year now.

Amy, What makes you go through wires so fast? Is it just the heat from a bigger turbo or what?

So I woke up this morning and started the car and the exact same thing happened to me as it did last week. Bad idle, white smoke and check engine light. So maybe its not the plugs which look fine. I dont understand so I guess I will have to use the lifesaving OBD again.

lol sorry, i was giving my honest experience with them. you always say how the ngk's are a good plug so we thought we would give them a shot. didn't work out for us []

wires should be replaced every year regardless, even though they might "look" fine that doesn't mean that they're performing as well as they should. most of the folks that are in the 300+ range change plugs and wires so frequently it would freak out most people lol. a friend of mine has a hp t66 and he changes plugs every 3 weeks and wires every 3 months!

it has to do with where our coil is situated, it gets very hot back there and breaks down the wires. coil heat shields do help

It's okay Amy... they pay me to say we're the best... ha-ha... Denso makes a nice plug, and if they work better for your application - well, you can't knock that!

if you ever want to try some NGK HR6's (since I am sure that is what you'll need with your mod's, or 7's - if we make one that'll work)... PM me... I can probably get you a set or two for "testing" purposes, and the cost would be in the zero range...
