RE: Just stopped in to say hello
What I drive....?
I am now looking to buy a new Dodge truck. Which one? I have no idea. I'd kind of like to have the new Power Wagon. If it came with a diesel it would be a great temptation. I won't be buying until about Feb, though. ANY RECOMMENDATIONS OR ADVICE?
I do have what is almost an offroad only Ramcharger. It is street legal, but I mostly just use it offroad.
I have what started out to be a 1979 Ramcharger. Only the body and frame is stock. Not even the removable top is original. I keep a convertible top on it year round.
It has a fuel injected 400 HP crate 380+ from Mopar. I have a "built" 518 overdrive tranny with some parts from a 618 diesel tranny. I also have a Klune underdrive for serious climbing. I'm running 35 inch BFG tires with 15x10 offroad wheels by Stockton Wheels. My bumpers and spare tire carrier/rear "gate" / gas and water can carrier are all hand made by the owner of Offroad Exchange http://www.offroadexchange.com/modforums/index.php
There are numerous other modifications
Thanks for asking. I should have thought to put that in my introduction.

I was just trying to figure out how to include a picture. I have several pictures, but the bodywork and paint aren't done yet, so it isn't much to look at. You might like to see pictures of the shock towers, rear shock mounts, aftermarket parts from Shaggy's at Offroad Exchange, custom dash, leather Chrysler Cordoba seats, and, of course the engine with air compressor for air tools, etc. I'll try to get some pics into my computer, then try to figure out how to upload them.

I will do my best to post some pictures. Right now it's raining hard and I can't take any. You might find the engine compartment the most interesting, although it is still filthy from a wild sand storm I was in on a desert run. The body has not been fully prepared for painting yet. Just a little work on the modified fenders and some holes filed and then I can paint it. It's all black primer right now. Not much to look at, but I will post pics anyway.
