Hello from across the pond.
Hi ,Matt here from England. I have a 2000 Ram 1500 Magnum. Here in the UK choice of American cars is limitedso you either get what you can get hold of or import a vehicle yourself. The American car scene here is pretty much like the US enthusiasts who like old British cars. The majority of cars are show cars and second cars that get pampered and wrapped in cotton wool. I'm a bit different as my Ram is my daily driver as well as a Honda Fireblade motorbike. My previous US cars where a '78 Cadillac Seville and a '92 Chevy G20 Conv Van (as I said choice is limited). I also like the US semi trucks as I'm a truck driver here in the UK.
We have a very limited number of Chrysler/Dodge dealers here(set up for Euro versions of the Neon,Voyager and lately the 300C).So I think all my advice will come via this site. Hopefully this will prove invaluable in the near future. Thanks for your time and 'have a nice day'.
Hopefully there should be some pics here.

RE: Hello from across the pond.
I used to go to Perth every Thursday so the pics looked kinda familiar, (the S on the number plate of the Merc denotes Scotland is where the car is registered when new, 07 then gives the year , followed by 3 random numbers (useless information).Based on these pics I know you were there sometime this year (probably between April-September.) This is the same across the UK. All reg plates starting with L identify the vehicle coming from London, M - Manchester etc etc..Followed by the year of registration.
Anything older than 2001 has a different system of registration.(but thats too boring).[sm=wakeup.gif]
The Dodge dealerships we do have do not supply anything other than parts for Euro spec cars ,as the Ram has never officially been supplied in Europe I get all my parts via Ebay or specialist importers of US car parts (there are more of these suppliers than you might think,so parts dont seem to be a problem and not over priced).
