Default New member switched from Ford

Hi all,

I'm new to this forum since I just purchased a 2004 Dodge quad cab 1500 4.7L. I have to admit that I was a proud Ford F150 (1997) truck owner for almost 10yrs. To be honest, I didn't have any major issues with the truck and was happy with it. It was just time to get newer vihicle since my daughter and wife were always telling me that it was looking a bit old. Engine wise no problems.I'm now the proud owner of a Dodge truck and hope to be able have many good things to say about it in the future becuase like anything new, everything is good at first, With me it needs to stand the test of time. From reading the news forum though, it seems that most folks are happy with Dodge trucks especially the hemi engines wow what horspower. I have the magnum but still has plenty of power for me. I will be towing a small boat and camper and think I shouldn't have any issues at all with it being able to handle it.

Well it is 2015 and has been a long time this post, I still own the Dodge and happy to say that it has been real good to me. I only have had minor issues and just recently replaced radiator with upper/lower hoses. I am going to replace the front shocks but other than that, just regular maintenance. Really happy with my dodge.
