I recently bought my third Dodge truck, used, and it didn't come with much information. So I was a little peeved at the alarm that goes off when I put things in to the bed, and started googling around to find out how to disable it.
I found you all and got into deciding if I have a stock alarm or not (I don't) but got really sidetracked with some other things that I really needed to know. I've also got a 2005 Cummins, and the guy who does my oil changes said there wasn't a lube point on the front end, but sure enough, there is, and you guys pointed it out to me. Well, I passed it on to my boyfriend anyway, who does that sort of thing for me now, but he wouldn't have known either.
And I had just recently found out about the park alarm recall, which applies to both of my trucks, and I'm so very glad I found you before I went and had it done. I back up with the doors open all the time, to hitch up, and that horn-blowing would have quickly driven me insane.
So I registered just to thank you all for being so useful, but I suspect I'll stick around and lurk a bit. After all, I suppose if I have two Dodges now, I should really keep up on their issues.
